Rick Bongard
Director
Mr. Bongard
is the Director of Presque Isle Academy.
He has worked in this capacity for 8 years. He
has been teaching for 18 years. He has a wife,
Tammie, and they’ve been married for 17 years.
He has two kids Craig(11) and Corrie(13).
Mr. Bongard's hobbies are fishing,
hunting,coaching Craig's hockey team and
Corrie's softball team.

Mr. Bongard:
Graduation Day! It's
really something to see when young men and women
rise above seemingly insurmountable obstacles to
reach their goals.
Pam McGinn
Nova Net Lab Coordinator
Mrs. McGinn is the Administrative Assistant
at P.I.A. She has worked at the
school for 7 years. Mrs. McGinn
has a family, a husband Andy, and one
son, Bryer(15). She has been
married for 16 years and enjoys camping
with her family, going to her son's
sporting events, and shopping.

Kristin Holberton
Teacher
Mrs. Holberton teaches Artistic
Expressions, Cooking, Social Studies, and Career Pathways.
She has lived in the area for several
years and has raised two children, Maggie and
Hollis. Recently, she married her
husband Lee, they enjoy golf, gardening,
cooking, and working on their house.

What makes a good school?
Ms. Holberton: A good
school is a safe, caring environment where
students are able to succeed.

Bruce Marshall
Teacher
Mr. Marshall teaches Science and a Math classes. This is Mr.
Marshall's 6th year at Presque Isle Academy. He lives in
the Petoskey area and enjoys cross country
skiing and playing hockey.

What inspired you to
become a teacher?
Mr. Marshall: I like to see
young people develop an appreciation of science
and nature.

Bob Richards
Race Car
Construction
Mr. Richards teaches Race Car Construction at
P.I.A. He has four children of various
ages. He enjoys racing, fishing, and
hunting.
